I’ve put together a roadmap for you to go from zero to your first $3,000 a month with your AI model.
Even if you’ve never heard a thing about promoting on Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, or messing around with Ai.
As I’ve shared in my blog, I stumbled into this niche by pure chance. Three years ago, my digital agency started using AI to whip up ad copy. Then I noticed something wild on Instagram—profiles of model girls who looked like, well, plastic dolls.

I probably would’ve just scrolled past and forgotten about it, but then I checked their stats and peeked at the comments.
Thousands of likes, tons of comments, tens of thousands of followers, and—here’s the kicker—a link to an external platform. Guess what it was?

F A N V U E
Back then, I had a buddy, Michael, who was producing real-life models. They were creating content and promoting it, and let me be real with you—they were raking in way more cash than I was with my agency. So, I already had a bit of know-how about platforms where private content gets sold.

Fast forward to today, I shut down my digital agency. Why? It wasn’t even pulling in a tenth of what I’m making now in the AI model biz.
Even if you ignore the profits, here’s what I love about this hustle:

  • No need to stress about client results like I did in marketing. Back then, I was fighting tooth and nail to deliver for every client, pulling off the impossible to get them results. Now? We just create content, hand it to clients, they’re happy, they pay, and we’re all good. Easy, chill, and kinda fun.
  • I see the growth potential. The big problem with my agency was scaling meant more clients, and finding new ones while keeping everyone happy was a nightmare. Now, my models bring in thousands of clients, and we’re ready to scale that up 100x.
Alright, enough intro. Let’s get to the good stuff—how do you start?
Everyone’s path is different. You might hit your first $3,000 faster or slower—it’s all up to you. But in this roadmap, I’ve packed in my experience and flagged the pitfalls I ran into. Hopefully, this helps you move quicker and smoother. Fingers crossed!

Here we go…

Step 1: Creating Your Model
Two big things to nail down here:
  • How do you technically create AI models?
  • What kind of models are in demand?
When I started, I tried like 5-8 online services for generating AI models. Total disaster. Here’s the kind of garbage you might end up with if you go that route:
Not exactly inspiring, right?

But then I kicked my laziness to the curb and dove deeper into the tech. I started with Stable Diffusion, then got into Flux and Lora, and now 80% of our content comes from ComfyUI.

Key details:
  • The tech I mentioned above only works if you’ve got a computer with at least an NVIDIA graphics card with 8GB VRAM.
  • You can use a dedicated server for some features, but that costs money and gets technically tricky.
  • Setting up and training takes at least a week, even if you’ve got a tech background.
  • I’m not diving into a full tutorial on these tools here—it’s the kind of thing you need step-by-step video guides for. I’m thinking about launching a course, but I need to know if my audience is into it. Drop me a line on Telegram if you’d wanna learn: https://t.me/mrjaigirl
  • You can totally figure this out yourself with enough time digging through online resources.
Despite those hurdles, you don’t have to start with the heavy tech stuff. You can generate photos based on real model images with face-swapping and post-processing (like using Flux Kontext or similar tools).

Oh, and here’s a flex—two of my top models are pulling in over $15,000 a month in revenue.

Wanna know what’s hot on the market?
Natural vibes!
Clients are over the over-the-top, size-5-chest, Botox-pumped look. They’re craving real, down-to-earth, girl-next-door types. Nail that natural aesthetic, and you’re golden.

Step 2: Packaging Your Model

Beyond the visuals (photos and videos), you gotta know how to present your model and keep a blog going. We use Fanvue for this—it’s a platform that officially allows AI models (unlike OnlyFans).

You need posts visible to everyone on her page every single day. Twice a day is even better.

Here’s our go-to strategy:
  • One post in the morning or afternoon with lifestyle content—show off your model’s personality, hobbies, interests, and good vibes.
  • One post in the evening with a call-to-action. Think a photo or video in lingerie or a cute outfit with a hint of spice. But don’t go too explicit—you don’t want clients feeling “satisfied” for free. The goal is to nudge them toward buying private content or sliding into DMs.
There’s a ton of tricks and tools for creating killer content, but what I’ve shared above is the foundation to start making money.

Step 3: Promoting Your Model

Every month, we test new strategies and traffic sources. And trust me, traffic isn’t the problem you might think. We’re working in a market with hundreds of millions of potential clients—guys. So, pretty much any social network or community platform can work for promotion.

One solid way? Dating sites. That alone can get your model traffic, clients, and sales.
But I’d recommend starting with two platforms: Instagram and Reddit.

On Instagram, just post one photo a day of your model with a touch of spice (but keep it chill—no explicit stuff). Even without hashtags or captions, you’ll start seeing reach and traffic in 2-4 weeks. Pro tip: test multiple accounts for the same model to find the one Instagram boosts the most.

For Reddit, you gotta do some homework. Research 18+ subreddits that fit your model’s vibe and check their rules. Then, either buy a Reddit account with good karma (Reddit’s internal rating) or build karma from scratch by posting in smaller subreddits.
These two platforms are enough to hit that $3,000-a-month mark. To scale further, you can add TikTok, YouTube, X, or dating platforms. But start small!

Oh, and here’s some inspo—stats from a new model we started promoting two months ago using just Instagram:
If I see enough interest from folks wanting to learn from me, I’ll break down traffic strategies step-by-step with examples and details. If that’s your jam, hit me up on Telegram to let me know: https://t.me/mrjaigirl

But real talk—you can figure this out on your own with the direction I’ve given you!

Step 4: Monetizing Your Model

To start, you only need two ways to cash in on your AI model:

  • Selling private content. On Fanvue, you can split content into public and paid. Post private content every other day—one post at a time. There’s a lot of nuance to keeping your audience hooked, but just start. I recommend setting the price for private access between $10-$20 a month.

  • Sexting for sales. Stick to chatting with folks who’ve already paid for private access. You’ll get a ton of freebie-seekers who don’t pay, so focus on the paying crowd. Through DMs, sell custom photos or videos to those who’ve already bought in. It takes time, but it’s worth it.
Once you’ve got those dialed in and can hire 2-3 chatters and a content manager, you can level up with stuff like custom content, tiered private packages, tips, wishlists, or even “dick pic ratings” (yep, there’s a market for that). There’s a ton of ways to make bank, and we haven’t even tapped them all yet.

Those two core methods are the foundation—anyone can start with no experience, no team, and no budget. Move from small steps to big wins, bit by bit.

I might add to this guide later, but for now, I’m happy with what I’ve laid out. It’s enough to dive into online research, take your first steps, and see results.

In my blog, I’ll keep sharing tips, tricks, wins, and faceplants. Nothing beats learning from someone else’s mistakes and successes, right?

So, keep up with the blog and don’t miss a post.

Got questions? Hit me up on Telegram: https://t.me/mrjaigirl. I’m open to chatting and helping out. But one big favor—let me know if you’d be down to learn this stuff from me. It’ll show me there’s demand for a course. Thanks, y’all!
